Initiating deletion
Open Mivo → Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account. Read the effects, verify the current email and submit. This page explains the process and does not replace the in-app deletion flow.
Effects
Submission disables sign-in, revokes sessions and leaves voice rooms. The task removes or anonymizes profile, avatar, favorites, blocks, credentials and related content, and closes rooms you own. Removed or anonymized data cannot be restored using the original account.
Progress and retention
The app provides deletion task status, including pending and failed results. General retention: Example: retain service data while an account is active, then revoke sessions and delete or anonymize data after deletion requests. A proposed 30-day backup purge needs an implemented backup and cleanup process before confirmation. Safety and moderation retention: Example: retain restricted reports, moderation decisions and security audit records for 180 days after closure, subject to justified dispute or legal retention. This needs an implemented cleanup process before confirmation. Retained records have restricted access and are not displayed as public profiles.
Help
Contact support@yulingchat.com if you cannot access your account or encounter a deletion error. Ordinary account deletion does not require contacting support as a mandatory step.
